Stop Shooting Video Testimonials!

There’s a better way to do video testimonials

Those endorsement interviews are a time-honored way of getting people interested in your business. But they don’t work nearly as effectively for service businesses as they could. This video explains why and what you can do about it to supercharge your testimonials.

Thanks to vteams for the use of their testimonials

The examples you’ll see in this segment are from vteams, an innovative software firm that now uses this kind of interview almost exclusively. They gave us permission to show you the interviews we shot for them. You can watch their edumonials at http://vteams.com/category/client_testimonials

And here’s the playlist mentioned at the end of the video. Please do take notes so you don’t have to go back and watch again 🙂

Great use of the testimonial questions.
Great video series too.
Thanks.

Thanks, Neil! That story had a happy ending. Those edumonials actually did bring in a big client as soon as they were posted.

Hi Steve! What a great video explaining “edumonials.” I loved how you made this specific to intangible products and services. I will watch the rest of the playlist, too.

By the way, how did you create the white background for the video?

That would take a while to explain, Dave, but maybe it’s a good topic for a video?
Thanks for the idea!

Very good stuff as usual. If you need a testimonial let me know. In the meantime, will a review do?

Thanks, Pete. Testimonials are great, and edumonials are even better.
But from your site, a review is probably best 🙂
